Vision for Computing

At The Wells Free School, we believe that a high-quality Computing education has the power to change the world. The aim of the computing curriculum is to give pupils the knowledge they need to live in a future where technology will play a bigger role in our lives. Educators should provide a rich computing curriculum where pupils are able to explore a range of technology and apps developing a variety of computing skills, as well as understand the future of computing and its impact on the world. We will give our pupils lots of opportunities for practical, hands-on experiences to make sense of the world around them in a way that fosters a curiosity and a lifelong love for the subject. We aim to inspire the next generation of computer scientists, technicians, photographers, designers and programmers.
